Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements.
 
        On June 18, 2020, the Board of Directors of Cardiff Oncology, Inc. (the “Company”) increased the size of the Board from seven to eight directors and appointed Dr. Mark Erlander, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, as a director of the Company, effective immediately.
